Now that I have read Isabelle's and I'm in the middle of Kathleen's book I am interested in the GOML. I heard they are being discontinued and only Isabelle is left. Were they not selling too well? Or were they a limited edition thing?
Just as well I guess because I would have wanted to buy them all after reading the books.

I guess they weren't really that popular.

Ashley, there have been many previous posts on this subject. Type in GOML or girls of many lands in the search mode of this message board and you will bring up these threads. Lots of good information. I personally think the dolls are fabulous and I have seven of them. I think AG did a bad job marketing them and I also think that there were too many cheap plastic doll versions out there competing with AG. (same situation with the AG minis lofts, apartments, etc.) If AG had done more intimate closeups of the dolls and shown the detail of their costumes, faces etc better along with sharing more information about their designer, Helen Kish, I think they would have sold better.

Until now I never knew there was a search mode.
I learned something new
